People find happiness in their miseries and that is why they are narrating the world about the same. You often notice that people find some pleasure describing about what happened with them rather than discussing how blissful they are. Believe in the powers of our beloved universe and shift your attitude from victimhood to empowerment. Create faith in the statement ‘I can change it for myself’.
We are often busy creating concrete for ourselves that we ignore what is freely available for us. Go for a nature’s walk. Sit next to any flower or a bush and start observing either the flower or the leaves of the bush. Do not talk to anyone and just observe the beauty of the nature. You may appreciate it in your heart while checking out the colour, texture, fragrance. It is the best exercise for mindfulness, which a sort of meditation to be in your present. Leaving the past and no worries for the future, you are actually enjoying your present while you are appreciating the beauty of the nature.
The practice of mindfulness is the effective way to be in the moment. We are often stuck in our memories and instead of living & enjoying the present moment we keep thinking about what happened in the past. We are evaluating every situation by connecting it to the past and thereby creating an uncertain future for ourselves. Start living in the moment. One of the ways is to talk to the nature. Another way is to talk to yourself. Discuss what you have planned for yourself for that present day and it would be good if you will actually speak to yourself loudly. At the end of the day again speak to yourself and tell what all you have accomplished as per the morning discussion. Now start your new day with new thoughts. If you have any grudges about something speak to yourself and finish it off there itself and it shouldn’t be dragged to the next day.

Let the thought come and go, do not get involved with your thoughts. Slowly you will start experiencing the inner calmness.
We have a strong misconception that multi-tasking people are more effective and successful. But we do not realize that they are the most stressed people because when they are doing the task in hand, they are worried about the one they are not doing. Their mind is always struggling with anxiety to switch to the other work. So, focus on the task in hand. Plan your task as per their priority and start doing it accordingly.
Do not treat your work as a burden that wherein emotional intelligence workshops play a vital role, it will do nothing but shall add more to your miseries. Think about your job, divide your day into small chunks and enjoy as you achieve/finish/overcome each chunk. Soon you will get the feeling of accomplishment which will make you happier in your work followed by calmness.
To have a sound sleep and calmer next morning, plan your next day, starting from the time you want to get up, the clothes you want to wear, food you are going to cook or eat and the tasks for the next day. When you have an organized day there are minute chances of getting panic or stressed as there will be less chance of forgetting the task supposed to be completed on that given day.
